Filled with colourful, fun articles, the SmartSquid nature magazine aims to engage children with nature!

Issue two covers a range of topics but a lot of the articles included in this issue are focussed around bees and birds and gardening. Thanks to wonderful contributors you can expect to find short stories, fact files, colouring pages, activity ideas and lots more filling the pages! It’s aimed at children aged 7-10 but is really universal and could be enjoyed by people of all ages!

Ordering a copy of this magazine not only covers the cost of your copy, but means more copies can be printed and offered for free to anyone who may need some fun, nature related content during these uncertain times.

There is also the option to donate in the drop down menu if you would like to support the project and ensure that there is a good amount of magazines available to send out for free!

So far, thanks to a partnership with FareShare South West, these magazines are being distributed to families with food packages. The magazine has also been included in free school meals with the Duke of Richmond pub in Hackney, in activity packs by the Scrapstore Bristol and at Jumping Beans holiday sessions run by Children With Voices. . If you know of any charities/hospitals/food banks that may like some free copies to distribute please get in touch.
